Little Dorrit - Season One



Little Dorrit tells the story of the Dorrit family and the rich array of characters they encounter on their way from rags to riches and back again. Andrew Davies (Sense And Sensibility, Bleak House) provides the adaptation for this Charles Dickens classic. Landlords and rent collectors, plasterers, bankers, turnkeys, prisoners, gentlemen and paupers, wastrels and dancing girls, engineers, artists, dowagers and butlers, and a charismatic French villain – all trip in and out of the story.

Episode 2
Arthur continues to get involved in Amy's life when he believes that his family caused problems for hers in the past. Arthur pays off Amy's brothers debts so that he can start afresh. Arthur considers restarting a romance with his former flame, Flora Casby.

Rigaud is paid to spy on Pet and Henry by Miss Wade. He also decides to follow the Dorrit's abroad to find out the link between them and the House of Clennam.
