True friends should always strive to work out their differences. Sometimes we can think we are right but be as wrong as two left shoes, so it wouldn't hurt to say to your friend, if I have wronged you in any way I apologize, if they insist on you apologizing, then you two need to have a heart to heart discussion and work it out, it is nothing wrong with apologizing to keep the peace, if its a real true friend.
