BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Ruben Studdard put the "I do" in "American Idol" Saturday, as he got hitched to his longtime girlfriend. The supersized winner of the second season of "American Idol" married Surata Zuri McCants, whom he met during a 2006 appearance at a Wal-Mart. The 29-year-old crooner, who is nicknamed "The Velvet Teddy Bear," had been signing autographs at the store when he noticed McCants. He then followed her into the toy department to ask for her telephone number. Twenty groomsmen stood up for Studdard during the ceremony at the Canterbury United Methodist Church.
